  • Five times in U.S. history, the winner of the national popular vote did not win the presidency in the Electoral College.
  • We can elect the popular vote winner without a constitutional amendment.
  • Legislative proposals have been introduced in the U.S. Congress to reform or eliminate the Electoral College system over 700 times.

The program includes two short videos and speakers will offer an overview of the Electoral College and the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact. Our speakers will be joined by other experts to discuss related issues and answer your questions about the Electoral College, National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, and other alternatives.
